1. Changing Your Booking

Changes to arrival or departure dates can be made up to 7 days before arrival, subject to availability.

Changes made less than 7 days before arrival are considered a cancellation according to the terms below, followed by a new booking.

2. Transferring Your Booking

You may transfer your booking to another person up to 1 day before arrival, provided that:

• the same dates and price apply, and

• the new guest meets any age requirements.

An administrative fee of 150 SEK may apply.

3. Early Departure

If you choose to leave earlier than planned, no refund will be issued for the remaining nights.

4. Cancellation Terms (without Cancellation Protection)

The following tiered cancellation policy applies if you have not purchased cancellation protection:

• More than 40 days before arrival: 90% refund

• 39–8 days before arrival: 75% refund

• 7–2 days before arrival: 25% refund

• 0–2 days before arrival: no refund

📌 The booking fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.

Cancellations must be made via the link provided in your booking confirmation or in writing via email.

5. 24-Hour Cooling-Off Period

You have a 24-hour cooling-off period from the time of booking, provided there are at least 7 days remaining until arrival.

A full refund will be issued, except for the booking fee.

6. No Right of Withdrawal by Law

Accommodation agreements are exempt from the right of withdrawal under Swedish law (2005:59 on distance contracts).
This means you cannot cancel your booking under general consumer withdrawal rules.

7. No-Show

If you fail to arrive on the check-in date and have not contacted us beforehand, the full booking amount will be charged.

8. Payment Terms

The booking fee and any deposits must be paid at the time of booking.
The remaining amount is paid according to the instructions in your confirmation—usually immediately upon booking.

Unpaid bookings may be cancelled by Surfviken.

Cancellation Protection (Optional Add-On)

You may purchase cancellation protection at the time of booking. It cannot be added afterwards.

With cancellation protection, you may cancel up to 24 hours before arrival and receive a full refund of the accommodation cost (booking fee and the cost of the cancellation protection are non-refundable).

Cancellation protection applies in the event of:

• illness or accident (guest or close relative)

• death in the family

• unforeseen events that make it impossible to travel or complete the stay

Examples of acceptable documentation include medical certificates, official statements, or equivalent.
Documentation must be provided no later than 30 days after the planned arrival date.

Prices:

• Camping: 195 SEK

• Cabin / Bed & Breakfast / Glamping: 295 SEK

Payment

For bookings made within one week, payment is due immediately at the time of booking. For bookings further in advance, credit card details are registered, and you can choose to pay either directly on the website or upon arrival. Credit card details are taken as a guarantee at the time of booking. In the case of a no-show, we reserve the right to charge the card provided at the time of booking in accordance with our cancellation policy.
