In our bed and breakfast, you stay in a classic 1940s summer house – with the restaurant next door and Hakefjorden just outside. Here, breakfast, dinner, and peaceful moments in the sun await. A place to settle in, right in the heart of Bohuslän’s summer.

15 Bed and Breakfast rooms with shared toilets and showers in the corridor, although nearly all rooms have a washbasin. All rooms are located in the same building as the restaurant, so it’s never far to enjoy a delicious dinner, a nice drink, and in the morning, your morning coffee is just a few meters away!

Our house is an old summer house from the 1940s, where the history began as a children’s camp. This gives it a summery and charming atmosphere, but it can also be a little noisy at times, with the unique character of an old house.

The rooms are individually decorated, each with its own identity, ranging from the Surf Room and Hiker’s Room to our larger rooms with sofa beds, armchairs, and coffee tables. If you’re looking for a more exclusive feel, choose our “blue” rooms, which are tastefully decorated in gold and blue, with a view of the sea.

BREAKFAST

On weekdays during the pre- and post-season and low season, we set up a delicious breakfast in our guest kitchen for you to make yourself when you wake up.

On Saturday and Sunday mornings and during high season, we serve our popular breakfast buffet in the restaurant.

CHECK-IN

At Surfviken we work with self-check-in to give you the smoothest solution possible. On the day of check-in you will receive a text message with instructions on how to check in and all the information you need.

SHOWER AND TOILET

All our rooms have a shower and toilet in the corridor. However, several of the rooms are equipped with a sink.

DOGS

Dogs are welcome with us and can stay in rooms 1, 6, 10, 5, 12, 14 and cost 150 SEK per night.

RESTAURANT

Our restaurant has different opening hours depending on the season. But keep an eye out – sometimes something extra fun happens, like live music, quiz nights, or other events that make your evening with us even more enjoyable!

From week 33 we are unstaffed Mondays – Wednesdays only self check-in these days.

Our house is an old summer house from the 20th century, where the story began as a children’s colony. This makes it summery and charming, but perhaps a little sensitive at times and with other personalities that an old house has.
